Pada sesetengah org..huruf C adalah sekadar seketul huruf..but to some other people, C terrifies them the most..well, I'm one of them..C stands for CANCER...
Sebelum doc diagnose me with C, aku dah lalui 3 bulan checkup yang rare la bg aku..sbb x pnah kna amik darah berbotol2..pastu buat ultrasound, biopsy and ct scan..everything was sooo new to me..Bila doc diagnose I have hodgkin lyphoma..that very second I felt my life empty, speechless, miserable and down to earth..What sort of reaction shud I give..If you were in my position, u'll be very surprise how long is a second..but I decided not to give any major reaction..just a simple smile will do..FYI, hodgkin lyphoma termasuk dalam C jenis heamato..totally different from solid C (breast, tiroid, dll)
Ada banyak pilihan utk rawat C..stp C akan terima rawatan yg berbeza2 bergantung kpd tahap ketahanan bdn, jenis C, umur, dll..So, doc decide utk rawat aku dgn chemotherapy..the simple yet exhausting chemo utk aku adlah ABVD regime..utk regime ni ada 6 cycles..1 cycle kna buat 2 kali..sng crta ada 12 kali smuanya (1.1, 1.2, 2.1, 2.2, 3.1, 3.2....) stp 2 mngu..roughly amik ms dlm 6 bln utk complete..apa yg xbest n x syoknya chemo ni adlah sbb skt, mntah n restless..the word restless itself pon cant be explained unless u experienced it urself..muntah tu xyah ckp la..kadg2 smpi semngu...bila aku dh go thru smpi 3 cycles..aku kna buat ct scan utk tgk sejauh mna kadar pengecutan tumor tu..Sadly, my tumor kecut x smpi 50% pon..then doc sruh tukar to another regime which is ICE..
ICE ni plak lebih kuat and ada side effect pd kesuburan n buah pinggang..effectnya dlm 2% cmtu la..since nk sht kan..aku pon decide to proceed..every month kna la msuk wad for 4-5 days...kira hospital tu dh mcm rumah kedua..kali ni cycle dlm 3-4 ja..depends pada patient tu juga..aku kna buat 4 kali..nk harungi 4 kali tu pon..adoi la..air mata saja la..syukur aku ada family n friends yg very supportive..if not, aku x tau cemana aku nk lalui semua ni..
Now aku tggu utk buat PET SCAN pulak...hopefull result for cancer activity NEGATIVE...
